Founder, The Conversation Café

Chisom nwaChinwe is a social entrepreneur with hands-on experience creating impact-led campaigns and initiatives and shaping conversations on sustainable development. She founded The Conversation Café, a platform for driving awareness, agency and action on the pressing issues facing women and girls. In 2019, Chisom executively produced “HER”, a film on the intersection of period poverty and women empowerment in Nigeria. She runs a Sanitary bank that provides sanitary care kits for marginalised girls in low-income communities.

Chisom is the chapter leader for the Dubai Women Circle, a global community dedicated to connecting and empowering women. She is an alumnus of the US Consulate Academy for Women Entrepreneurs and has been recognised and awarded severally for her outstanding work.

Chisom has a BSc in Political science and is wrapping up her MA in Global Governance and Sustainable Development.
