Lamide Akintobi is a journalist and TV personality who has worked for various media outlets in Nigeria and abroad. She has interviewed prominent figures, created innovative TV shows, and reported on important events. She is now a producer for CNN International, covering Africa stories for TV and Digital. She also runs a media services company and has been involved in documentaries, magazines, and content acquisition. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism & Spanish from Texas A&M University – Commerce and a Master’s Degree in International Journalism from City University, London, where she was a British Council Chevening Scholar. She is fluent in English, semi-fluent in Yoruba and  Spanish, and is currently learning Hindi and Portuguese.

She also serves the community through the international community service organization Delta Sigma Theta and served as an officer for the  West Africa Chapter from 2021-2023.
